Welding & Fabrication Guidelines
GB Q235 exhibits excellent weldability with most common welding processes including SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and SAW. Preheating is typically not required for sections up to 25mm thickness. Post-weld stress relief may be beneficial for critical applications or heavy sections to minimize residual stresses and improve dimensional stability.
