Heat Treatment and Processing
MetalZenith's AISI 2205 undergoes solution annealing at 1020-1100°C followed by rapid cooling to achieve optimal phase balance. Our controlled cooling process prevents harmful intermetallic phase formation while maintaining the desired austenite-ferrite ratio. Hot working is performed between 1200-950°C, with careful temperature control to prevent excessive ferrite formation.
Manufacturing Process Excellence
Our advanced manufacturing process begins with vacuum induction melting using premium raw materials, followed by electroslag remelting for enhanced cleanliness. Hot rolling is performed using computer-controlled rolling mills to achieve precise dimensional tolerances and optimal surface quality. Cold finishing operations include precision grinding, polishing, and specialized surface treatments to meet specific application requirements.
