COR-TEN Weathering Steel Sheet is a high-strength, low-alloy structural steel that forms a stable rust-like appearance when exposed to weather conditions. This self-protecting patina eliminates the need for painting and provides excellent atmospheric corrosion resistance.

Manufacturing Process: Hot rolled using controlled chemistry to achieve optimal weathering characteristics. The steel develops its protective patina through controlled oxidation over 18-36 months of weather exposure.
Applications: Architectural facades, bridges, railway cars, shipping containers, outdoor sculptures, structural frameworks, transmission towers, and marine applications where painting is impractical or undesirable.
