Heat Treatment Process
Standard solution annealing is performed at 1120°C (2050°F) followed by rapid cooling to prevent carbide precipitation. MetalZenith utilizes precision-controlled atmosphere furnaces with ±5°C temperature uniformity. Post-heat treatment surface conditioning removes oxidation while maintaining dimensional accuracy. Stress relief treatments at 870°C may be applied for welded components.
Manufacturing Process
Production begins with vacuum induction melting of premium raw materials, followed by electroslag remelting for enhanced cleanliness. Hot working operations utilize computer-controlled rolling and forging equipment maintaining precise temperature profiles. Cold working capabilities include precision rolling, drawing, and forming operations with intermediate annealing cycles as required.
