Titanium Steel exhibits a stabilized austenitic microstructure with titanium carbide precipitates that prevent chromium carbide formation at grain boundaries. The titanium addition provides excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion and sensitization, while maintaining superior formability and weldability characteristics typical of 18-8 stainless steels.

Heat Treatment Process

MetalZenith employs solution annealing at 1040-1120°C followed by rapid cooling to achieve optimal carbide dissolution and titanium stabilization. Our controlled cooling process prevents harmful precipitate formation while ensuring complete austenite retention and maximum corrosion resistance.

Advanced Manufacturing Process

Our manufacturing process includes vacuum induction melting for superior cleanliness, controlled titanium addition for optimal stabilization, and precision hot rolling with controlled finishing temperatures. Post-processing includes solution annealing, descaling, and comprehensive passivation treatment to develop maximum corrosion resistance.
