Heat Treatment Process

Our comprehensive heat treatment protocol includes preheating to 650-700°C, austenitizing at 1000-1030°C with controlled atmosphere protection, followed by air cooling or oil quenching depending on section size. Tempering is performed at 550-650°C to achieve target hardness of 48-52 HRC. Multiple tempering cycles ensure dimensional stability and stress relief for critical applications.

Manufacturing Excellence

MetalZenith employs electric arc furnace melting followed by ladle refining and vacuum degassing to achieve superior steel cleanliness.
